They can throw scraps in it and use it to stage or move building materials for a nominal cost per day.
Delivering firewood is another great business use for a dump trailer. They are capable of moving a lot of split logs and delivering them to people for the burn season. Delivering materials like rock, mulch, and topsoil is a snap. It helps you with reselling a few tons of material at a time as well.
Depending on what you’re hauling and if you buy in bulk or sell in smaller quantities you can make upwards of $50-70 in delivery. The downside is that it does put some wear and tear on your truck, and you need to consider time and maintenance on your trailer as well. Most states will require a DOT inspection.
